Han llegado. Tras un viaje de días sobre vagones del tren de carga cientos de migrantes arriban a Ciudad Juárez. Se levantan, recogen sus cobijas, se sacuden su cansancio para cargar de nuevo sus mochilas en sus hombros y volver a caminar, ahora lo hacen rumbo al río Bravo.
Luego de más de 14 horas de camino en tren de la ciudad de Chihuahua a Ciudad Juárez, cientos de migrantes a bordo de los techos de los vagones resienten los efectos del segundo día de calor bajo el sol del desierto
A 85 kilómetros de Ciudad Juárez, en el tramo entre Villa Ahumada, el tren se detuvo por alrededor de tres horas según expresaron los migrantes, también comentaron que anteriormente había dejado de avanzar en Chihuahua en donde elementos del Instituto Nacional de Migración acompañados de militares y policías intentaron persuadir a los migrantes a que abandonaran el tren
La velocidad del tren se mantuvo lenta, en sus techos había familias con niños y mujeres embarazadas. El tren se detuvo una tercera ocasión por alrededor de una hora y media en el tramo entre Samalayuca y Ciudad Juárez
El grupo de cientos de personas ingresó a Ciudad Juárez a bordo del tren con la intención de entregarse en la frontera a las autoridades de Estados Unidos para solicitar asilo.
Alrededor de la 1:30 pm los migrantes llegaron al final de su viaje en tren luego de casi 18 horas de camino de Chihuahua a Ciudad Juárez.
Los cientos de migrantes que tripulaban el tren llegaron caminando a la puerta 36 a entregarse a Estados Unidos, sin embargo, el doble alambre de púas y los soldados estadounidenses inhibieron el paso de los migrantes a territorio para que sean ingresados al país vecino del norte de México.
